As we are sometimes unable to take phone calls, any inquiries are best addressed via email.pinimapbassfullcolor2) Does Aquatic Imports Hawaii ship? Shipping is addressed on a case-to-case basis, whether it be to an outer island or out-of-state. We will only guarantee live arrival on certain freshwater species, saltwater fish are at the customers risk. Please contact us for shipping eligibility, as we only hope to expand enthusiasm for the aquarium hobby.

3) I am looking for a certain fish, can you get it? Aquatic Imports Hawaii will take special orders on any out-of-stock product and will always attempt to special order any product not previously offered. All special orders will be charged a 50% nonrefundable down-payment. For more information, please see our SPECIAL ORDERS section.
STnice4) Does Aquatic Imports Hawaii take credit card? Aquatic Imports Hawaii will accept PayPal payments, which ultimately allows you to pay with a credit card. Please note that with any PayPal transaction, a 3% service charge will be implemented to the total cost. (If you do not have a PayPal account, you can create one at PayPal.com)

5) Do I just put my fish straight into the tank? The quick answer is NO. Newly acquired fish should always be acclimated slowly to their new surroundings. The acclimation process is very simple and allows your fish to transfer with little to no stress. Following these easy steps will ensure your fish are given enough time to properly adjust to your aquarium.
kelberiandxingu Float the bag for 15-20 minutes. This allows the proper amount of time for the water temperature in the bag to equalize with the water in your aquarium.
- Remove the rubber band so that the bag is now open. Dip the bag slowly, allowing a little water from the tank to enter the bag.
- Let the bag with the fish sit for approximately 5 more minutes.
-Repeat dipping the bag and allow to sit for 5 more minutes.
-Take a small net and scoop your new fish out to place it in its new surroundings. Never add shipping water to your aquarium.
